Hindu Pez

About Me

My photo
In a climate of mediocrity and unchallenging music, film and television, Hindu Pez is here to challenge the very fabric of local and national music. Combining elements of industrial, powernoise and digital hardcore, Hindu Pez ranges from abrasive rhythmic noise to spacy, swirling ambience, hard, fast, bludgeoning breakbeats, and blends of all of the above. Beginning in mid ’03, Gabriel Perry’s Hindu Pez was born out of a state of boredom and feeling of being burned out from playing guitar in the machine-rock band Krieg Der Kinder. Since it’s inception, Hindu Pez has released 3 full length records : “Collective Unconscious”, “Stopping the Ministry of Peace”, and a self-titled record. There are 2 EP’s, “the ‘ANTI’ EP” and “Collaborations and Remixes”. A single for the track “March of the Destroyers” was the last official release, coming out on 10-31-08. A new album titled “Porno Music to Kill to” will be released in April of 2009. As of 2005, all Hindu Pez music has been made available for free download as 320kps mp3’s. Gabriel is a firm believer in the digital medium, and has no future plans for physical disc releases at this time.

4-10-09 : Hindu Pez releases "Porno Music to Kill to" for free download!

April 10th, 2009, Hindu Pez, a Norfolk, Virginia-local industrial music project of Gabriel Perry (aka Dj Who?) will release 'Porno Music to Kill to', a 10 track blend of industrial, powernoise, and digital hardcore.
Boasting an interesting album title (by k@t Marsh) and featuring impressive album photography and layout by Chris Garcia (aka lastdeviant - www.lastdeviant.com ) this record is Hindu Pez's finest, most extreme, most experimental and, by all accounts, Hindu Pez's best. This album will be made available as of 12:01am, 4-10-09, for free download as 320kps mp3's.
